  • 2003 graduate of Florida's Saint Leo University with a degree in liberal arts
  • Received a degree in education and computer information systems from Liberty University in 2009
  • Fourth season as an assistant coach at Virginia Wesleyan in 2012-13 ,working primarily with the pitching staff, infielders and hitters
  • Pitchers have earned Old Dominion Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year (Brittaney Brown '10, Kristina Karagiorgis '12) and Rookie of the Year honors (Mackenzie Creech '11, Kristina Karagiorgis '12) in his three seasons as VWC's pitching coach
  • Pitchers have earned Virginia Player of the Year (Brittaney Brown '10) and Virginia Rookie of the Year honors (Mackenzie Creech '11)
  • Has 20 years of softball coaching experience in Hawaii, California, South Carolina, and Virginia
  • Has accumulated more that 600 victories between high school and travel teams; 2003 travel team placed 14th nationally and won the Virginia state championship in 2006
  • Former assistant varsity coach, head junior varsity coach, and head middle school coach at Chesapeake's Deep Creek High and Middle Schools from 2001 through 2008
  • Retired from active duty in the United State Navy in 2005, after 20 years of service
  • He and his wife Tina reside in Chesapeake, Virginia; they have three daughters: Jaimee, Katy, and Lindsey, the latter a member of the VWC softball team
