of the Year (Brittaney Brown '10, Kristina Karagiorgis '12) and
Rookie of the Year honors (Mackenzie Creech '11, Kristina
Karagiorgis '12) in his three seasons as VWC's pitching coach
Pitchers have earned Virginia Player of the Year (Brittaney
Brown '10) and Virginia Rookie of the Year honors (Mackenzie Creech
'11)
Has 20 years of softball coaching experience in Hawaii,
California, South Carolina, and Virginia
Has accumulated more that 600 victories between high school and
travel teams; 2003 travel team placed 14th nationally and won the
Virginia state championship in 2006
Former assistant varsity coach, head junior varsity coach, and
head middle school coach at Chesapeake's Deep Creek High and Middle
Schools from 2001 through 2008
Retired from active duty in the United State Navy in 2005,
after 20 years of service
He and his wife Tina reside in Chesapeake, Virginia; they have
three daughters: Jaimee, Katy, and Lindsey, the latter a member of
the VWC softball team
