Luke, Sadinski lead Marlins past Bluefield

Top singles player Brian Luke (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) and No. 2 Ryan Sadinski (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) each scored straight sets singles wins, then teamed up to triumph at No. 1 doubles as Virginia Wesleyan took down Bluefield 6-3.

Luke rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Jordan Owens in the top singles match. Sadinski made quick work of Chaz Stonestreet 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2.

Griffin Graves (Middleburg, Va./Middleburg Academy) and and Donnie Greathouse (Yorktown, Va./Grafton) added a victory at No. 2 doubles for the Marlins. Virginia Wesleyan also picked two victories by forfeit over shorthanded Bluefield.
