- Finished his 13th season as head coach at Virginia Wesleyan College, where he has guided the Marlins to a 290-93 record overall, a 179-55 regular-season mark in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) competition and to nine straight NCAA tournament appearances with a 19-8 NCAA tournament record
- Selected as the Virginia College Division Coach of the Year by the Virginia Sports Information Directors in 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2008-09, 2010-11, 2011-12
- Current 76% winning average ranks him No. 1 among all of VWC's men's basketball coaches and one of the highest in the country
- Has guided VWC to Old Dominion Athletic Conference championships in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2012 and to six regular-season first-place finishes
- Guided Virginia Wesleyan to a 30-3 record in 2006 and to its first National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III national championship in any sport

- Prior to coming to VWC, he was a two-year assistant basketball coach at Wilkes University, his alma mater, where the team compiled a 46-11 record, earned two Freedom League championships, one Middle Atlantic Conference championship and made two trips to the NCAA tournament and one Final Four appearance
- A four-year starting point guard for Wilkes, guiding the Colonels to an 89-22 record, two league championships, and two appearances in the NCAA's Elite Eight in 1995 and 1996
- Inducted into the Somerset Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002

- Helped win a Germany Cup with the Dragos and competed for the Euro Cup
