Vaughn earns second ODAC Player of the Week honor

FOREST, Va. -- Donald Vaughn, a senior from Woodbridge, Va. (Dumfries Potomac), has earned his second Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week award of the season after helping Virginia Wesleyan College to a 3-0 week.

Vaughn averaged 20.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 blocked shots and 3.0 steals in wins over Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite University and Christopher Newport University, helping the Marlins improve to 16-2.

In the week's opening contest against BC (72-52), Vaughn poured in 20 points to go with three steals and three blocked shots. In a 91-65 win over EMU, Vaughn scored 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting in 22 minutes of action. He added six boards, three steals and three more rejections to his stat sheet. He capped his week with 16 points, five rebounds and three more steals and blocks as the Marlins snapped CNU's 12-game winning streak (89-74).
