VWC's Koubaroulis named to position with USA Field Hockey

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Virginia Wesleyan College head field hockey coach Joyce Anne Koubaroulis has been names as the Regional Development Manager for Region 8 by USA Field Hockey.

Region 8 is the Southern Region and includes Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

The responsibilities of the Regional Development Manager have expanded to include Futures, youth development, and assistance with the regional administration of umpire and club development.

Koubaroulis has been Virginia Wesleyan's head caoch since 2007 and served as an assistant coach for a year at Smith College and a year at Ursinus College prior to her head coaching roles. In addition, Koubaroulis has planned, directed and executed field hockey clinics, tournaments and camps. Over the years Koubaroulis has coached in many USA Field Hockey National Level programs.
